Worthy successor for the Commander BASIC remote control
This fall, the Commander BASIC remote control will get an
improved successor for around €850 with the new MiniComm. The
Minicomm remote control is closer to its two big brothers
Commander SA-1000 and Commander SA-5000 yet is considerably
lighter, weighing only 750 grams. The housing is made of a
solid aluminum block with a refining anodized coating,
tempered glass, a scratch-resistant display, and an
inscription printed on the back. The front panel is made of
black anodized aluminum with high-quality scratch-resistant
laser marking. The modern design fits perfectly to the
Commander series from ScaleART and the improved operating
concept of a large cursor field, as well as the precise
all-metal joystick with Hall sensors for millimeter-precise
remote steering. The range of features can keep up with its
big brothers, but the MiniComm uses additional potentiometers
instead of 3D joysticks.
Model fans will have to be patient until fall 2018.
